Iga Swiatek comfortably leads the way in the No 1 spot of the WTA prize money earners list for 2024, while Jasmine Paolini and Barbora Krejcikova both surged towards the top following Wimbledon.
Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has collected $599,461 this season, making her the 60th highest earner. 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu is 78th on the list, having collected $516,530 in prize money so far in 2024.
Players who competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics did not earn any WTA prize money to add to their totals.

10) Maria Sakkari – $1,729,467
Maria Sakkari was rewarded with $585,000 for her runner-up effort at the Indian Wells Open in March — her best result of the year to date.
The 28-year-old Greek was also a semi-finalist in Charleston, a quarter-finalist at the Miami Open, while she made the last 16 in Madrid and Rome.
9) Zheng Qinwen – $1,911,821
Zheng Qinwen collected a $1,166,963 payout for her impressive run to the final of the Australian Open in January.
The 21-year-old Chinese star has also reached the last eight at the Dubai Championships and the Italian Open in 2024.
8) Elise Mertens – $2,165,195 ($1,449,195 in doubles)
Elise Mertens has earned $1,449,195 for her huge success on the doubles court this year, while she has also picked up $716,000 in singles.
The Belgian partners Hsieh Su-Wei at most tournaments, and the pair have claimed titles at the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Birmingham this year. The duo also reached semi-finals at Wimbledon and the Madrid Open.
7) Danielle Collins – $2,225,473 ($19,515 in doubles)
Danielle Collins has been in outstanding form in recent months and won the biggest title of her career at the Miami Open in March — earning her $1,100,000.
The 30-year-old American, who will retire after this season, has also won the Charleston Open WTA 500 event, reached the semi-finals of the Italian Open, the quarter-finals of the Qatar Open and the last 16 of Wimbledon.
6) Coco Gauff – $2,903,054 ($472,860 in doubles)
World No 2 Coco Gauff started her 2024 season by winning the WTA 250 tournament in Auckland and she then reached the last four of the Australian Open, which earned her $669,735.
The 20-year-old American was also a semi-finalist at WTA 1000 events in Indian Wells and Rome, as well as the French Open, while she made the quarter-finals in Dubai and the fourth round at Wimbledon.
In doubles, Gauff secured the Roland Garros title alongside Katerina Siniakova, while she was a runner-up in Rome with partner Erin Routliffe. She also reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon with Jessica Pegula.
5) Elena Rybakina – $3,031,265
World No 4 Elena Rybakina has secured three WTA 500 titles so far in 2024: the Brisbane International; the Abu Dhabi Open; and the Stuttgart Grand Prix
The 24-year-old was a runner-up at WTA 1000 tournaments in Qatar and Miami, with these runs winning her $308,320 and $585,000 respectively. The Kazakh also reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon and the Madrid Open, and the last eight at Roland Garros.
4) Barbora Krejcikova – $3,504,115 ($236,729 in doubles)
Barbora Krejcikova reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January, before winning just three matches across her next seven events.
Following this difficult run, the 28-year-old Czech claimed $3,427,396, the biggest payout of the season, for her stunning title run at Wimbledon.
In doubles, Krejcikova was a runner-up at the Madrid Open with partner Laura Siegemund, while the duo were also quarter-finalists at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
3) Aryna Sabalenka – $3,736,491
Aryna Sabalenka started her 2024 campaign with a runner-up result in Brisbane, before she successfully defended her Australian Open title to collect a winners’ cheque of $2,130,975.
The 26-year-old Belarusian, who is the world No 3, was also a runner-up at the back-to-back clay-court WTA 1000 tournaments in Madrid and Rome in March. Sabalenka then reached the Roland Garros quarter-finals.
2) Jasmine Paolini – $4,274,510 ($429,052 in doubles)
Jasmine Paolini won the second and biggest title of her career at the Dubai Championships in February, claiming $454,500 for her triumph at the WTA 1000 tournament.
The 28-year-old Italian collected $1,777,168 for reaching the Wimbledon final and earned a $1,283,525 payday for her runner-up result at the French Open.
Paolini also won the Italian Open doubles title with Sara Errani, before the pair were finalists at Roland Garros.
1) Iga Swiatek – $6,826,749
Iga Swiatek is the prize money leader on the WTA Tour in 2024 courtesy of her amazing haul of four titles from six WTA 1000 events so far, as well as her French Open triumph.
After winning the Qatar Open in February, the Pole earned $1,100,000 for her Indian Wells victory in March. The 23-year-old then secured $1,107,709 for her Madrid Open win and $804,644 for her third Italian Open triumph.
The world No 1 was rewarded with $2,567,051 for claiming her fourth Roland Garros crown and fifth Grand Slam title.
