It’s officially sweater season. It’s the time of the year when the wind bites a little harder, the clouds hang a little lower, and the fireplaces seem to burn a little brighter. It’s the season of wearing leggings, boots, scarves, and other wintery pieces. But still, a girl has to dream, and we can’t help but dream about corset tops and full skirts, sheer statement pieces and shoulder-bearing tops. Maybe that’s why Mila Kunis’s see-through corset is the lingerie trend staple we so desire this December. Is it practical? Not at all, but it’s fashion, and fashion is meant to be fabulous (which Mila’s look most certainly is).
Mila wore a sheer black corset (aka the mother of all corsets), which featured black boning, a sheer bodice, and contrasting black cups. While this part of the Dolce & Gabbana dress would look equally as striking with some leather or red, Mila kept the look in the vein of classic glamour. The rest of the actress’s ensemble was made up of a high-waisted midi skirt that displayed blooming pastel florals on a white background. The outfit is equal parts goth ballerina and old school movie star, which suits Mila perfectly.
