Paige Spiranac, who was once hailed as Maxim’s “Sexiest Woman Alive”, has been candid about the struggles she faces in being taken seriously on the golf course. Recently, she experienced an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction during her latest round, shedding light on the challenges she encounters as a female golfer.
Known for her revealing attire in online content, such as bikinis and short skirts on her Instagram profile, Spiranac decided to opt for a more modest black turtleneck for a round of golf in an attempt to shift the focus to her game. However, the winter sun made her outfit see-through, unintentionally revealing more than she had intended.
Despite the wardrobe mishap, Spiranac took it in stride and shared a picture of the incident on social media, jokingly saying, “Me: ‘I’ll wear a turtleneck so people can focus on my golf’. Ends up being see-through in the sun lol”.

Spiranac, a prominent figure in the golf world with close to four million Instagram fans, has faced criticism despite her success. She expressed her frustration, stating: “People don’t think I can string a sentence together. They look at one post, and it’s me standing there with my t*** out, and they assume ‘she has no substance’. The list goes on and on. What I produce is not that provocative. If my body makes someone uncomfortable, that’s not my problem.”
Before gaining fame as an internet sensation, Spiranac competed as a professional golfer on the Cactus Tour and secured her first pro event win in 2016 at Arizona’s Orange Tree Golf Resort. Despite her global presence in the golfing world, she did not make it to the LPGA Tour that year and subsequently shifted her focus to social media.
