It isn’t uncommon for celebs to use pseudonyms but when the ‘As It Was singer‘ booked in to stay at the Caledonian in Edinburgh, the staff said they were ‘giggling’ after figuring it out.

In a bid to avoid being hounded by paparazzi or crazed fans, Harry revealed that he used the name ‘Oliver Sudden’.

The former One Direction star brought thousands of fans to Edinburgh in May when he performed in Murrayfield at his sell-out gig.

According to the Daily Mail, a source at the hotel said: “We all had a right giggle when we saw the name – it took a while to work out what it meant.

“Harry is so famous though that he has to use a different name when checking in or it would be carnage for him with his fans who follow him wherever they know he is.”

While some may confuse the name with the London rapper, Oliver Sudden, it is thought Harry’s special pseudonym ‘Oliver Sudden’ could be a nod to his sudden rise to fame, and a ‘thank you’ to his adoring fans for following him on his journey that started out on X Factor.
