Australian Tennis star Nick Kyrgios is back with another bold statement. Previously this tennis player surprised his fans by admitting that winning a Grand Slam title is not important for Kyrgios. Instead, this tennis star prioritized his bantering around on the court more. Now Kyrgios revealed another surprising fact about his Grand Slam ambitions to his fans.

Known for his controversial remarks, Kyrgios attracted a lot of media to his opinions. Just two months back, this Aussie tennis player disappointed his fans by announcing that he was not willing to play the sport after suffering from serious injuries in his knee and wrist. Nick Kyrgios opened up about tennis’s big elites and his Grand Slam dream

The official X (formerly Twitter) profile of the Australian Open shared a clip of Nick Kyrgios candidly speaking to one of their hosts. Sharing this clip, the page wrote- “Hungry for more @NickKyrgios.” However, fans spotted Kyrgios candidly speaking about his Grand Slam dreams.

In this clip, fans spotted Kyrgios revisiting his 2022 ATP tour match against Spaniard Rafael Nadal. Seeing the clip, Kyrgios commented- “I remember this match brutal he played unbelievable. I kinda wish I wasn’t playing in the era of prime Murray, prime Federer, prime Nadal, and prime Djokovic. Or I would have a couple of Slams under my belt.”

Kyrgios’s comment has surprised his fans. Previously, this Aussie tennis star opened up playing against Rafael Nadal. He said- “Rafa has that big game style and that physicality, big leftie, you know his patterns but you can’t do anything about it. And Roger Federer could make you feel so bad on the court, shrinking the court, taking time away from you, you never feel settled,”

This Aussie tennis player also opened up about his feelings to play against Serbian stalwart Novak Djokovic. He said- “At least with Novak you know you’re going to have those exchanges, those long gruelling exchanges. You know you’re going to get warm, know you’re going to get into it. Then there’s the problem of trying to work out how to beat him, he’s like a ping-pong machine.”
