Danish tennis sensation Rune sets ambitious goals with new coaching team led by Mouratoglou, aiming for Grand Slam success.

Following a split with his former coach Boris Becker, Danish tennis prodigy Holger Vitus Nodskov Rune has outlined ambitious targets under his new coaching partnership, led by renowned French coach Patrick Mouratoglou. In an official statement shared by World No. 7, Rune emphasized the importance of the right coaching setup in achieving his goals.

“It is common knowledge that I am determined to win Grand Slam titles and reach that number one spot on the world ranking. That requires the right coaching constellation and team surrounding me,” Rune expressed in the statement, underscoring his commitment to attaining elite-level success in tennis.

With Mouratoglou at the helm, Rune exudes confidence as he sets his sights on challenging tennis titans like Novak Djokovic for Grand Slam victories. Mouratoglou, renowned for coaching legends like Serena Williams and Stefanos Tsitsipas, shares Rune’s lofty aspirations, emphasizing the potential for greatness in their partnership.

The coaching team assembled for Rune’s pursuit of excellence includes Mouratoglou as the head coach, with former Danish player Kenneth Carlsen providing additional support.
