The gripping semi-final of the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters between Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitispas is currently underway. The Greek won the first set while the young Italian took the lead in the second set.
The Italian beat Holger Rune yesterday afternoon in last year’s rematch in the same tournament. A victory that was seriously complicated after losing the second set at the tie break.
And thanks to the victory obtained against Rune, Sinner matches a super milestone held only by the Big 3 Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
The Big, together with Sinner, are in fact the only ones to have reached at least one semi-final in all 4 of the first major tournaments of the season: Australian Open, Indian Wells, Miami and now Monte Carlo.
Sinner did not allow himself to be distracted by the rebirth of the Dane, who tried in every way to reverse the reins of the match, even using chaos and controversy.
