Simona Halep has received a new wildcard

Simona Halep (32 years old) has received a new invitation.

After withdrawing from the Madrid Open, where she had been invited by the organizers, Simona Halep received a new wildcard.

The French press claims that Simona Halep has been invited to the main draw at the Trophee Clarins, a 125 category tournament scheduled to take place from May 13-19.

Simona has not yet given a final answer regarding her participation in the competition where Ana Bogdan and Jaqueline Cristian will also be in the main draw.

Simona Halep has played only one official match in 2024 after being cleared of doping suspension, in the first round of the Miami Open – also with a wildcard – where she lost to Paula Badosa.
