The Spanish tennis player answered some questions in a Q&A with ATP and revealed who he thinks is the greatest tennis player of all time
In one of the free moments he enjoyed after his triumph at Wimbledon and before returning to training for Paris Olympics, the 4-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz lent himself to a fun interview published on the ATP social channels for the Down the T format.
Alcaraz chose his favorite tennis player in some of the most disparate categories, from the funniest to the GOAT, passing through the most underrated tennis player and the best opponent. The Spaniard made it clear in this Q&A that he is very fond of Frances Tiafoe, considered by the 21-year-old from Murcia to be the funniest player on the men’s Tour. Carlitos then declared that he deeply admires Novak Djokovic, as well as considering Alex de Minaur the most underrated tennis player and Holger Rune the biggest trash talker.
Alcaraz then had to choose his GOAT: looking at titles and records, his choice fell on Novak Djokovic, but he then added that the Serbian’s rivalry with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal was the pinnacle of our beloved tennis.

In the meantime, the Spaniard is experiencing the last moments of lightheartedness to then aim for the next goal. Alcaraz is enjoying a well-deserved rest after two incredible months, in which the Spaniard graduated champion for the first time at Roland Garros and confirmed the title at Wimbledon, beating Novak Djokovic in the final. The Spaniard is recharging his batteries in view of the 2024 Paris Olympics, to aim for a historic treble, after Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
