Carlos Alcaraz overtook Jannik Sinner at the top of the ATP prize money earners list for 2024 after winning Wimbledon to add to his Roland Garros triumph earlier this summer.
Novak Djokovic climbed to fifth place following his run to the final at the All England Club, while Taylor Fritz replaced Hubert Hurkacz in the top 10.
Rafael Nadal is currently the 144th highest earner this year with $305,379 ($3,718 in doubles), with his runner-up result at the Swedish Open and his last 16 run at the Madrid Masters his standout results.
Andy Murray made $441,514 ($37,328 in doubles) in the 2024 season before his retirement at the Paris Olympics, leaving him 112th on the list.
ATP top 10 prize money earners in 2024
10) Andrey Rublev – $2,409,945 ($37,833 in doubles)
Andrey Rublev started his 2024 campaign by claiming the ATP 250 crown at the Hong Kong Open, before he made a run to the last eight of the Australian Open.
The Russian received his biggest pay-out of the year so far — $1,025,144 — for winning the Masters 1000 title in Madrid in May.
9) Taylor Fritz – $2,489,240 ($82,782 in doubles)
Taylor Fritz has had a strong 2024 season, winning titles at ATP 250 tournaments in Delray Beach and Eastbourne, while he was also a runner-up in Munich.
The 26-year-old American was a semi-finalist at the Madrid Open and a quarter-finalist at the Australian Open, the Italian Open and Wimbledon.
8) Alex de Minaur – $2,890,709 ($38,328 in doubles)
Alex de Minaur is having an excellent year and he enjoyed considerable success at hard-court ATP 500 tournaments in February with strong runs at the Rotterdam Open and the Mexican Open.
The Australian was a runner-up in Rotterdam, before he defended his title in Acapulco. He won the grass-court ATP 250 event in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and also reached the quarter-finals at the Monte Carlo Masters, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
7) Stefanos Tsitsipas – $2,940,443 ($116,485 in doubles)
Stefanos Tsitsipas was rewarded with $990,052 for winning his only title of the 2024 season to date at the Monte Carlo Masters in April.
The Greek was also a runner-up at the Barcelona Open the following week and he completed a strong clay-court campaign with quarter-final runs at the Italian Open and the French Open.
Tsitsipas has also earned $116,485 in doubles, having reached the quarter-finals of the French Open with his brother Petros.
6) Casper Ruud – $3,306,263 ($34,501 in doubles)
Casper Ruud was a finalist at back-to-back hard court events in Mexico in February: the Los Cabos Open ATP 250 and the Mexican Open ATP 500 in Acapulco.
The Norwegian then earned $540,638 for his Monte Carlo runner-up showing, before claiming $524,085 for winning the Barcelona Open title. Ruud also reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros.
5) Novak Djokovic – $3,621,915
Novak Djokovic claimed $669,735 for his run to the Australian Open semi-finals and $1,777,168 for his runner-up result at Wimbledon, while he also reached the last eight at Roland Garros.
The 37-year-old Serbian has also made last four appearances at the Monte Carlo Masters and the Geneva Open in 2024.
4) Daniil Medvedev – $3,802,848 ($16,241 in doubles)
Daniil Medvedev was a finalist at the Australian Open in his first event of the season, with his run at the Melbourne Grand Slam netting him $1,166,963.
The Russian then claimed $585,000 for his runner-up effort at the Indian Wells Open in March, while he earned $907,625 for being a semi-finalist at Wimbledon. Medvedev also made the last four at the Miami Masters, and was a quarter-finalist in Madrid.
3) Alexander Zverev – $5,259,164 ($121,275 in doubles)
Alexander Zverev earned $1,033,165 from his triumph at the Italian Open, while he also reached the last four at both the Australian Open and the Miami Open.
The German secured $1,283,525 — his biggest pay-out of the season — for being a finalist at the French Open.
In addition, Zverev has raked in $121,275 for his doubles success and was a finalist at the Monte Carlo Masters with partner Marcelo Melo.
2) Jannik Sinner – $6,097,789 ($34,594 in doubles)
Jannik Sinner received $2,130,975 for winning his maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in January, before adding $430,260 for his Rotterdam Open triumph in February.
The 22-year-old Italian earned a further $1,100,000 for his Miami Open title run in March, while he also won the Halle Open ATP 500 event in June.
The world No 1 has reached semi-finals at Indian Wells, Monte Carlo and Roland Garros, as well as the quarter-finals at Wimbledon.
1) Carlos Alcaraz – $7,966,627
Carlos Alcaraz earned $1,100,000 for winning the Indian Wells Masters in March — his first title since Wimbledon last year.
The 21-year-old secured a huge $2,567,051 paycheque for claiming his first French Open title in June and earned a mammoth $3,427,396 for defending his Wimbledon crown.
The Spaniard was also a quarter-finalist at the Australian Open, the Miami Open and the Madrid Open.
