Emma Raducanu, after a disappointing US Open, is set for a busy end to 2024 with multiple WTA events ahead.

Following her early exit at the 2024 US Open, Emma Raducanu is gearing up for a packed schedule to close out the season. The 21-year-old British tennis star, who lost in the opening round to Sofia Kenin, has not won a match at Flushing Meadows since her historic 2021 title run. Despite a lack of match play in the weeks leading up to the US Open, Raducanu is now set to make a return on the WTA circuit.

Raducanu’s next appearance will be at the Korea Open in Seoul, starting September 16, where she reached the semifinals in 2022. Following that, she will compete at the WTA 1000 China Open in Beijing on September 25. She might then play in the Wuhan Open on October 7, or if she opts out, she will head to the Hong Kong Open at the end of October. This event will likely mark the end of her 2024 season before she begins preparing for the 2025 Australian Open.

Although Raducanu has struggled to find her form in recent months, she remains focused on ending the year on a strong note, pushing through a tough schedule to build momentum for the next season.

“I would have liked to play more matches ahead of the US Open,” Raducanu admitted, reflecting on her preparation. Now, with a clear schedule ahead, she aims to capitalize on her upcoming tournaments.
