Coco Gauff parts ways with coach Brad Gilbert; Naomi Osaka’s ex-coach Sascha Bajin expresses interest in working with her.
Coco Gauff recently ended her coaching partnership with Brad Gilbert, following a year of highs and recent struggles. Gilbert, who helped Gauff secure her first Grand Slam title and a WTA 1000 victory in 2023, thanked Gauff for their collaboration, saying, “Coco, at just 20 years young, your future is incredibly bright.”
In response to Gauff’s coaching shift, Naomi Osaka’s former coach, Sascha Bajin, expressed his interest in working with the American star. Commenting on an Instagram post, Bajin said, “I’m ready. They just need to call.”
Bajin has a rich coaching history, having guided Osaka to her first two Grand Slam titles and previously working with tennis legends such as Serena Williams.
