Aryna Sabalenka overtook Iga Swiatek to ascend to the No 1 spot of the WTA prize money earners list for 2024 after her victory at the 2024 US Open.
American stars Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro both surged into the top 10 after their runs at their home Grand Slam tournament.
Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has collected $768,911 this season, making her the 66th highest earner. 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu is 80th on the list, having collected $646,160 in prize money so far in 2024.
Here are the top 10 WTA prize money earners for 2024 (prior to the China Open).

10) Zheng Qinwen – $2,478,275
Zheng Qinwen collected a $1,166,963 payout for her impressive run to the final of the Australian Open in January.
The Chinese star has also reached the last eight at the Dubai Championships, the Italian Open and the US Open in 2024.
9) Elise Mertens – $2,584,262 ($1,475,345 in doubles)
Elise Mertens has earned $1,475,345 for her huge success on the doubles court this year, while she has also picked up $1,108,917 in singles.
The Belgian partners Hsieh Su-Wei at most tournaments, and the pair have claimed titles at the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Birmingham this year. The duo also reached semi-finals at Wimbledon and the Madrid Open.
8) Emma Navarro – $2,692,754 ($77,302 in doubles)
Emma Navarro started the 2024 season by winning her maiden WTA title at the Hobart International.
The American was a semi-finalist at both the Canadian Open and the US Open, while she reached the quarter-finals at Indian Wells and Wimbledon.
7) Elena Rybakina – $3,191,915
Elena Rybakina has secured three WTA 500 titles in 2024: the Brisbane International; the Abu Dhabi Open; and the Stuttgart Grand Prix
The 25-year-old was a runner-up at WTA 1000 tournaments in Qatar and Miami, with these runs winning her $308,320 and $585,000 respectively. The Kazakh also reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon and the Madrid Open, and the last eight at Roland Garros.
6) Coco Gauff – $3,289,408 ($472,860 in doubles)
Coco Gauff started her 2024 season by winning the WTA 250 tournament in Auckland and she then reached the last four of the Australian Open, which earned her $669,735.
The 20-year-old American was also a semi-finalist at WTA 1000 events in Indian Wells and Rome, as well as the French Open, while she made the quarter-finals in Dubai and the fourth round at Wimbledon.
In doubles, Gauff secured the Roland Garros title alongside Katerina Siniakova, while she was a runner-up in Rome with partner Erin Routliffe. She also reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon with Jessica Pegula.
5) Barbora Krejcikova – $3,644,115 ($236,729 in doubles)
Barbora Krejcikova reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January, before winning just three matches across her next seven events.
Following this difficult run, the Czech claimed $3,427,396, the biggest payout of the season, for her stunning title run at Wimbledon.
In doubles, Krejcikova was a runner-up at the Madrid Open with partner Laura Siegemund, while the duo were also quarter-finalists at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
4) Jessica Pegula – $3,721,244 ($112,586 in doubles)
Jessica Pegula has secured titles this year at the German Open in Berlin and the Canadian Open in Toronto — with the latter earning her $523,485.
The American was a finalist at the Cincinnati Open in August, while she was rewarded with $1,800,000 for her run to her maiden Grand Slam final at the US Open.
3) Jasmine Paolini – $4,668,009 ($461,097 in doubles)
Jasmine Paolini won the second and biggest title of her career at the Dubai Championships in February, claiming $454,500 for her triumph at the WTA 1000 tournament.
The 28-year-old Italian collected $1,777,168 for reaching the Wimbledon final and earned a $1,283,525 payday for her runner-up result at the French Open.
Paolini also won the Italian Open doubles title with Sara Errani, before the pair were finalists at Roland Garros.
2) Iga Swiatek – $7,515,693
Iga Swiatek has collected four titles WTA 1000 titles so far this season, while she also triumphed at the French Open.
After winning the Qatar Open in February, the Pole earned $1,100,000 for her Indian Wells victory in March. The 23-year-old then secured $1,107,709 for her Madrid Open win and $804,644 for her third Italian Open triumph.
The world No 1 was rewarded with $2,567,051 for claiming her fourth Roland Garros crown and fifth Grand Slam title.

Aryna Sabalenka is the prize money leader on the WTA Tour in 2024 courtesy of her haul of three titles, which includes two Grand Slams.
The 26-year-old started her 2024 campaign with a runner-up result in Brisbane, before she successfully defended her Australian Open title to collect a winners’ cheque of $2,130,975.
The Belarusian, who is the world No 3, was also a runner-up at the back-to-back clay-court WTA 1000 tournaments in Madrid and Rome in March. She then reached the Roland Garros quarter-finals.
Sabalenka collected $523,485 for winning the Cincinnati Open in August, before she earned a mammoth $3,600,000 for her triumph at the US Open
