WATCH: Rafael Nadal is in Saudi Arabia for the penultimate event of his career

Rafael Nadal has landed in Saudi Arabia, where he will play the exhibition The Six Kings Slam in Riyadh this week, before moving to the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga where, with his Spain, he will close his glorious career.

And the event in Riyadh is in fact the penultimate event of his career and will be the opportunity for fans to admire the exploits of the Spaniard before he gives his last tennis farewell.

The Spanish tennis player has already arrived in Arabia for this exhibition: the tournament recorded a video upon arrival giving Rafa a warm welcome in the Arab facilities.

In addition to Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Jannk Sinner will be present at the tournament, arriving from Shanghai where Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune played the final.

 

There will be six players present in Riyadh. Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune and, of course, Nadal. All Slam champions except for the Danish tennis player. Wednesday, October 16 will be the quarterfinals and Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev will face each other on one side of the draw while Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune will play on the other.

 

The semi-finals are scheduled for Thursday, October 17: Novak Djokovic will face the winner of the challenge between Sinner and Medvedev and Rafael Nadal awaits the winner of the challenge between Alcaraz and Rune. Friday, October 18 will be a rest day, also to get around the fact that the ATP prohibits the organization of exhibitions for three consecutive days, while on Saturday, October 19 there will be the finals for third and fourth place between the two losers in the semi-finals and the final for the title.
