Alcaraz Says He Will Get New Tattoo If He Wins Gold Medal At Olympics

He also got one after winning Wimbledon last year and will now get one after winning Roland Garros recently. In a talk with L’Equipe following his triumph in Paris, the 21-year-old confirmed that he’ll get more ink on his body if he gets back from Paris with a gold medal.

“If I ever bring back gold from Paris, in singles or doubles, it will also deserve its little tattoo.”

Alcaraz on getting a new tattoo

Winning a gold medal at the Olympics is certainly many athletes’ dream, and Alcaraz is no different. It’s not the only type of medal an athlete can win at the Olympics, but it’s the one that means the most.

“The Games are held every four years and it is a special tournament because it is not just for you because you represent a whole country, all Spaniards.”

Alcaraz’s Roland Garros tattoo will prominently feature the Eiffel Tower, which means he’ll have to figure out something else to put on his body for the Olympics if he does win a gold medal. The Wimbledon tattoo featured a strawberry, so there is a lot of creativity behind the Spaniard’s tattoos.
