MANILA, Philippines: Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala has risen in the standings of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), after finishing as runner-up at a tournament in Luxembourg.
As of November 20, Eala is now ranked 190th in the WTA, after placing 204th last week.
Eala was fresh off a finals appearance at the International Tennis Federation Kyotec Open in Luxembourg.
The 18-year-old peaked at 189th last month, after her appearance at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
