Andy Murray once again praised the qualities of Jannik Sinner in a recent interview with the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. The British tennis player was impressed by the Italian’s various progress in recent months, rewarded by many important and satisfying victories.

The 36-year-old, who is not experiencing an easy period in his career, confirmed how the Italian player could be among the big favorites for the next edition of Wimbledon.
“Moving on the grass courts is a little different, but the way in which and he hits the ball makes me think he can do very, very well. I watched the final in Australia, he did well to come back and win that match from the position he was in. It was obviously a big effort. Medvedev was a little tired at the end, he had played a lot in those two weeks.
Jannik was looking for his shots at the beginning, he was very solid mentally and followed his game plan. After winning the first Slam, I’m sure he will win others.
The feeling is that it takes some time to create this new situation.
