He is one of my favorite players and one of the best players in the world, so I wanted to measure myself to him, see how he combines my game against his game, how he manages inside the track.
It’s great for me to be able to measure myself against new generation players and see what they do better, worse or different than the guys I’ve faced all my career, the Roger, Rafa or Novak. Carlos Alcaraz has often praised Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal for dominating the Tour for so long.
