Jannik Sinner was eliminated in the semifinals at Roland Garros
Patrick Mouratoglou posted new content on his very active Instagram account and analyzed the match valid for access to the Roland Garros final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. The well-known coach believes that the Spaniard technically played one of the worst matches of his career and that only mental strength allowed him to get back into the match after a complicated start.
Mouratoglou also acknowledged that a Sinner in total control felt cramps quite early due to suboptimal physical preparation. In fact, the South Tyrolean had to stop before the start of Roland Garros because of a hip problem, skipping the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.
“Alcaraz technically played one of the worst matches of his career and defeated the world number one. The lesson from the match between him and Sinner is that even when things don’t work out, you can win.

The Italian will soon return to the court and will be among the protagonists of the ATP tournament in Halle, the first tournament he will play as world number one. Jannik will become familiar with the surface and will also play doubles with his friend Hubert Hurkacz.
Sinner will use Halle to prepare for the long-awaited Wimbledon tournament, the third Grand Slam tournament of the season.
