On Wednesday evening, the Mad Max actress is likely to be among the stars at the opening ceremony of the 68th Cannes International Film Festival at Carlton Hotel Beach Front.

Theron will then take to the spotlight on Thursday evening at the Grand Theatre Lumiere for the world premiere of her latest film, Mad Max: Fury Road.
At the screening, Charlize will be joined by her co-stars Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tom Hardy, Zoë Kravitz and Nicholas Hoult.
Directed by George Miller, in the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic motion picture the South African born beauty takes on the role of Imperator Furiosa.
