Coco Gauff Gushes over Her Mother Serving Looks with an Endearing One-Word Message

Coco Gauff wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to her mother. Despite her rigorous schedule as a professional tennis player, she always prioritizes spending time with her mother, whether it’s for informal lunch dates or simply cherishing memories together. The 20-year-old never misses a chance to show her mother how much she is admired. Gauff recently highlighted their strong familial bond by leaving a touching remark on her mother’s social media post.

The Grand Slam Champions’ mother and grandmother recently attended the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s Luncheon in Florida. And the third-ranked tennis player was literally left gushing over her mother Candi Gauff’s loo

Coco Gauff adores her mother and grandmother’s recent look

Recently, the American tennis player’s mother took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from a recent event she attended with her mother. Along with that, she wrote, “Enjoyed the luncheon today sponsored by NCBW South Palm Beach Chapter. Congratulations to the honorees, especially my mother and the 10 high school scholarship recipients, especially my cousin Courtney Lowe.”

The US Open champion congratulated her mother on her latest achievement. Coco dropped a one-word comment on the post, and wrote, “pretty😍.”
Even though she did not attend the event personally because of the ongoing clay swing, she supported her mother and her grandmother by dropping a comment on the post. After facing an early exit in the Stuttgart Open, she will now be seen playing in the Madrid Open.
In addition, after winning the Grand Slam last year, she also highlighted the contribution of her parents in boosting her morale. She stated, “I used to put my tennis and compare it to my self-worth; when I would lose, I would think I was not worth it as a person. So having my parents always remind me that they loved me regardless of how I do helped me today.” Subsequently, last year she also talked about her grandmother, Yvonne Lee Odom, and how she is the one who inspired her to use the platform to raise awareness about important social issues.

Gauff drew inspiration from her grandmother

Last year, the young American tennis star opened up about her grandmother being the first black woman to attend an all-white high school. Along with that, the 20-year-old had to bear a lot of racial injustice, which became a source of inspiration for Coco, to use her platform to address important issues.

She stated, “You know, for those who don’t know, she was the first Black person to go to, what was then called Seacrest High School. She was chosen to integrate that high school, and she had to deal with a lot of stuff.” In addition, her grandmother, with her kindness, endured and paved the way for the other generations of black people to thrive.
