Coco Gauff’s Father’s Unparalleled Jubilation Amid Partnership With Andy Roddick Unveiled in a Stirring Admission

When it comes to upcoming sensations, Coco Gauff is ready to set the tennis circuit ablaze. At just 19, she is already doing wonder, but despite her heroics on the tennis courts, there are some weaknesses that the US Open champ needs to address. Being completely aware of them, she had a consultation with tennis legend Andy Roddick right before the Australian Open.

Reflecting on the same, Roddick, in a recent podcast talked about the meeting that he had with Gauff. Not only this, he also reflected on the relationship that he has with her head coach Brad Gilbert.

On the latest episode of ‘Served with Andy Roddick’, the former tennis star suggested that he worked on improving Coco Gauff’s service for a couple of days before the Australian Open. Roddick praises the effective partnership between Gauff and her coach, Brad Gilbert, highlighting their seamless teamwork.

He shares that he and Gilbert regularly exchange text messages, discussing Gauff’s progress and strategizing during Gilbert’s telecasts. This helped them know things and work closely to ensure that she brought out her best performance at the tournament.

“I will say and I told you this offline Coco cam and we worked on her serve during the Australian Open. It was a couple of days. I could sit here for 30 minutes and sing her praises. The connection with Brad when he starts working with her Brad and I text regularly when he is on air on a telecast we share notes and try to figure out what’s going on Brad and I have a really good relationship,” said Roddick while reflecting on the consultation.

Not only this but further in the interview, he went ahead to talk about Gauff’s father while praising the kind of man he is.

In the same podcast, Andy Roddick reflected on the enthusiasm and the excitement that Coco Gauff’s father had. While suggesting that it was just the off-season, her father was ready to leave everything behind and join Gauff’s team and work towards her development.

“When it became real to me was different members of Coco’s team including her father were like, “We’re looking forward to coming this off-season,”” said Roddick while revealing the jubilation that Gauff’s father had.
