Now the 39-year-old is taking on a new role in her latest film Proxima where she plays Sarah – a French astronaut training at the European Space Agency.

The movie – scheduled to be released in May – centres around her preparing to take on a year-long mission.

Teaser pics reveal Eva washing herself in the shower in a nude scene.

She stars alongside Matt Dillon in the new space film that’s already been praised by critics.

Eva previously spoke out about it “not making sense” for Bond to be played by a woman after Daniel Craig hangs up his suit.

She said: “I’m for women, but I really think James Bond should remain a man. It doesn’t make sense for him to be a woman.

“There is history with the character that should continue. He should be a man.”

Those in the running to take over are James Norton, Richard Madden and Idris Elba.

The release of the new James Bond movie No Time To Die has been postponed until November due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Studio bosses have pushed back the latest film in the 007 franchise by six months after evaluation of the “global theatrical marketplace”.

The film will now be released in the UK on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the US launch on November 25, 2020.

A statement on the movie’s official Twitter page reads: “MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020.”
