Harry Styles is a 29-year-old singer and actor from England. He debuted his singing career in 2010 when he was placed in the boy band One Direction. Save the Children
Eglantyne Jebb founded Save the Children in 1919 with the belief that “children have the right to grow up healthy, educated and safe.” Save the Children works with countries across the world to advocate for children’s rights and inspire policies, such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, a universally accepted human rights treaty. The organization deploys health, nutrition, education and protection programs for children in Africa suffering from hunger and other crises.
In Asia and the Middle East, Save the Children fights against rising rates of malnutrition and protects children from “the physical and emotional wounds of war.” They are a highly accredited organization, earning the 2023 Great Nonprofits Top-Rated Award and a Platinum rating from GuideStar. They have helped more than 1 billion children across 116 countries.
The International Rescue Committee
During Harry Styles’ tour in July 2023, he partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to invite three Ukrainian refugees to his show in Warsaw, Poland.
The IRC was created in 1933 to empower those affected by humanitarian crises. Their 17,000 employees work in over 40 countries to provide education, health, safety, power and economic relief to people displaced by conflict. CARE focuses on long-term solutions by strengthening local communities and giving them the resources to respond to crises themselves.
