Raducanu missed 3 out of 4 Grand Slams in 2023. But now she’s looking forward to kick-starting her 2024 campaign at the ASB Classic in New Zealand.
Before stepping onto the court, she shared a post on Instagram to thank those who stood beside her through thick and thin in 2023.

Emma Raducanu and her rumored boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli were first seen when they posted a picture together on Instagram while they were in Mexico. Carlo Agostinelli is the son of the American billionaire Robert Agostinelli.
Though they haven’t confirmed their relationship publicly, Raducanu’s presence at Carlo’s £2 million property in Kensington in June stirred speculations among the fans. In July, they were seen leaving Whole Foods together in casuals. However, all the rumors were put to rest when they showed up recently at the Dior Show at Paris Fashion Week hand in hand. Now, Carlo’s sister has come out in support of the British tennis pro.
Emma Raducanu put up a heartfelt note, writing, “No secret 2023 had its obstacles. However, after the initial disappointment, it only made me appreciate the life I have more. Looking ahead to 2024 from down under. Feeling grateful and up for facing whatever this new year presents. Been training well and proud of the steps I’ve made. Now, for the exciting part. Thank you for everyone’s support throughout the year. I’m happy to see you all again. I missed this.” To this, Heloise Agostinelli replied, “Proud is an understatement.”
Earlier, the 21-year-old was heavily criticized for her media commitments and endorsements. People didn’t hesitate to put up a question mark on the attitude and work ethic of the former US Open champion. But now’s she quite determined to cover all her lost ground in 2024.
Raducanu’s biggest goal in 2024
Making a comeback after a long gap is difficult. But doing it after having being under the knives several times this year makes it even tougher. So, Emma Raducanu feels her biggest goal for 2024 is to stay fit. The 21YO Brit has enormous potential and no one can deny that. All she needs is an injury-free season to add more titles to her bag.
She has admitted that she’s not going to put any pressure on herself to play at the Paris Olympics. But it would be an experience she’d love to have. Her current rank is 298, so meeting the regular requirements to feature in the national team is slightly difficult now. But there is still time before the ball starts rolling at Paris, and a few good results could do wonders for the Brit. Will it start from the Land Down Under?
