Etcheverry shares a big praise for Alcaraz and Sinner

The Argentine tennis player talked about the talent of Sinner and Alcaraz, in an interview for puntodebreak.com

His best ranking is still at 27th position, but the goal is to give himself the chance to become a top 10 one day. The 24-year-old Argentine tennis player Tomas Martin Etcheverry explained in a recent interview with puntodebreak.com that the two young stars Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner cannot help but motivate all other tennis players to push themselves beyond their limits.

“Of course I watch their games. They have reached a different level than the others thanks to their speed and their way of playing. It’s impressive to see them,” he told.

“I haven’t reached those levels yet and I don’t know what I would feel.

What I see around me is what I’ve always dreamed of doing, the place I’ve always wanted to be,” explained Etcheverry in an interesting interview with puntodebreak.com.

Etcheverry on his idol Del Potro

In Argentina it is not difficult to take inspiration from a tennis player like Juan Martin del Potro.

“He has always been my role model. I hope one day to play like him, he has always been an example to follow and he is my idol. I tried to copy him when I was little, that’s the truth! I look up to his tennis a lot, even if I try to follow my own path now.

I don’t have his weapons yet, I’m trying to hit the ball as hard as him,” said Etcheverry. Etcheverry entered the top 100 for the first time in the middle part of 2022 and never left it; indeed, tournament after tournament, he managed to make great strides forward with dedication and humility.
