LUKE LITTLER has returned to winning ways with a thumping 6-0 win to set up a European Tour clash with rival Luke Humphries.
The darts sensation, 17, swatted Arno Merk aside without dropping a leg in Sindelfingen, Germany on Friday evening.
It comes just 24 hours after he was dumped out in the quarter-finals of the Premier League’s night in Rotterdam.
Littler’s three-night winning streak was ended by Michael Smith as the teenager was beaten 6-3 by Bully Boy.
That was despite the Warrington wonderkid averaging more than 102 in defeat.
And Littler showed he remains one of the best players in the world with a sensational performance at the European Darts Grand Prix.
He will now face Humphries in the second round on Saturday – with the pair having already had a catalogue of battles this year.
Littler lost to Humphries in the final of the world championships in January, but has won all four of their Premier League meetings since then.
The pair could also meet next Thursday in Liverpool if they both come through their quarter-final match-ups.
Humphries and Littler are leading the way in the Premier League with 26 points each.
Nathan Aspinall, who won in Rotterdam, sits three points adrift in third, with seven-time champion Michael van Gerwen a further one point back in the final play-off spot.
There are four rounds of matches remaining in the Premier League, before the top four face off at The O2 on May 23.

First and fourth place take on one another in one semi-final and second and third clash in the other – with both matches a best of 19 legs.
The final is then played over 21 legs to decide the Premier League champion.
