Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka recently took to social media and uploaded a series of pictures from her recent outing.
Sabalenka, who missed the 2024 Wimbledon Championships due to a rare shoulder pain, has become active on social media platforms. The year started well for the Belarusian tennis star, as she won the 2024 Australian Open after defeating China’s Qinwen Zheng in straight sets.
However, she later started struggling with her form in the hardcourt season. Sabalenka also struggled to settle her feet on clay before the 2024 Madrid Open. Nevertheless, the 26-year-old ended as the runner-up in Madrid as well as Rome. On both occasions, she suffered a loss against WTA World No. #1 Iga Swiatek.
At the 2024 French Open, she was eliminated by Mirra Andreeva in the quarterfinals after she looked ill during the match. Sabalenka later revealed that she was not in her best health and also announced that she would be missing the 2024 Paris Olympics.
However, she returned to the Berlin Ladies Open, where she retired from the quarterfinals owing to shoulder pain. Aryna Sabalenka also started practicing at the All England Lawn Tennis Club ahead of the 2024 Wimbledon. However, she eventually decided to withdraw from the Championships.
The 26-year-old later uploaded a picture on her social media account, providing an update about the shoulder issue. Meanwhile, the Belarusian tennis star is also enjoying quality time with her new boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis.
Earlier this week, she uploaded a post on Instagram, where she can be seen alongside her boyfriend. On the other side, Georgios Frangulis also uploaded a post on his Instagram account, which included various pictures of the couple.
However, she recently uploaded a series of pictures on her Instagram account, where she can be seen enjoying her time at a beach. Aryna Sabalenka was earlier in Greece with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis. She captioned the post, “Hydrating.”
The return of the two-time Australian Open champion is still uncertain. However, she’s expected to make her return after the 2024 Paris Olympics.
