Too bad it’s just a gross mistake by the well-known French brand. Perhaps Nole could interpret this as a sign of destiny, but who knows if it is positive or negative?
As reported by our collegues of Tennis World Italy, he crocodile brand, born from the mind of former French tennis legend René Lacoste, has put a limited edition item of clothing on sale for US customers. A collector’s item worth $350. Fleece tracksuit that includes a hoodie, sweatpants and an organic cotton fleece. In addition to the inevitable crocodiles on the chest and thighs, the commemorative kit also features the number 25. A collaboration, the one between Djokovic and Lacoste, which has lasted since 2017, and which was recently extended until 2025.
But, from what one could interpret, it would seem as if the brand wanted to celebrate the 25 Majors (not yet won) by the Serbian (who has 24 Slam titles). Furthermore, if that 25 had referred to the extension of the agreement between Lacoste and Djokovic, why put it on sale now, in 2024, and not commemorate it next season? Maybe Lacoste marketing knows more about it than us: who knows!
Meanwhile, Djokovic is doing everything he can to put the injury and surgery on the meniscus in his right knee behind him. On social media, Novak showed his progress, also giving a glimpse of his first training sessions on the court.
