Luke Littler opens up on trolls targeting his beautician girlfriend – as the darts sensation reveals why she is just what he ‘needed’ in his life

Darts prodigy Luke Littler has become a national phenomenon, and with his meteoric rise to fame, his personal life has been thrust into the spotlight. The 18-year-old sensation has now opened up about the intense online trolling directed at his girlfriend, Faith Millar, revealing why her presence has been an essential source of support in his busy life.

Littler and Millar, a 19-year-old beautician, confirmed their relationship earlier this year after months of speculation. Since then, they have been a public item, with Millar joining him at major events and tournaments. However, this increased visibility has come at a cost, with the couple facing a torrent of online abuse. “It’s been tough,” Littler admitted, describing how both he and Faith have seen the relentless negativity. His response, however, is a testament to their bond. He told her not to pay attention to the comments, simply stating, “They’re jealous. They wanna ruin us.”

This resilience has been vital for the young couple, who have continued to support each other despite the attacks. Millar’s presence has been particularly crucial as Littler’s global schedule takes him far from home. A prime example came during a recent trip to Australia for the Darts Masters in Wollongong, where Littler triumphed. With his parents unable to make the long journey, having Faith there provided a sense of calm and stability. “She’s a lovely lady, Faith,” Littler remarked, explaining that her company was exactly what he “needed” during the busy tournament. He further elaborated on this, saying, “I knew my mum and dad weren’t going to come. And as soon as I asked the question, she was like, ‘Yeah, I don’t think I’ll ever get the chance.’ So I said, ‘You can come with me.'”

This is not the first time Littler has had to navigate the complexities of a public relationship. He previously split from his girlfriend, Eloise Milburn, a decision he announced on social media, where he also made a public plea for fans to stop sending her hate. “Everyone needs to stop sending hate towards Eloise saying it’s her fault and this and that,” he wrote at the time. “I myself split up with Eloise and everyone just needs [to] give us some time, no need for everyone to message her and give her grief.” This earlier experience has likely equipped him with a greater resolve to protect his new relationship from the prying eyes and cruel words of online trolls.

As Littler’s winning streak continues, his relationship with Faith Millar appears to be a solid foundation amidst the whirlwind of his career. She is expected to join him for his next tournament in New Zealand, further cementing her role as a key part of his support system. The fact that he is so open about the challenges they face and his unwavering defense of her demonstrates the maturity and strength he possesses, both on and off the oche. For a young athlete under immense pressure, having a partner who can provide a sense of normalcy and unwavering support is invaluable, and it seems that in Faith, Luke Littler has found just that.
