Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has announced Joao Cancelo will be staying.
Cancelo spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Bayern Munich after falling out with Guardiola.
But today, the City manager said: “Cancelo stays with us.
“Previously, he brought the team a lot of benefits. After a loan at Bayern, he returned and became part of the team. The future will show everything.”
The 29-year-old Portuguese made 21 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
