Man City star Jack Grealish reveals new night-time routine he shares with girlfriend Sasha Attwood after installation at their £5.6m Cheshire mansion

Manchester City star Jack Grealish has revealed his new daily ritual to help him relax before going to bed.

The England international is once again bidding to seal a Treble with Pep Guardiola’s side in the running for the Champions LeaguePremier League and FA Cup to repeat their feats of last year.

Grealish has found a regular 90-minute stint in the side hard to come by however this term, struggling with injury issues and the form of his team-mates, and has only completed 90 minutes for three consecutive league games once this season.

With England in action in the European Championship this summer in Germany, he will be keen to finish the season well and make sure he is in with a shout of starting the first game of the tournament.

As such, perhaps in a bid to aid recovery, the forward has unveiled a new ritual that he shares with partner Sasha Attwood at his £5.6million mansion in Cheshire, according to The Sun.

Grealish revealed that he has had a traditional Swedish sauna installed at his home, where the couple spend 10 minutes in the evening at a sweltering 110 degrees Celsius to relax.

Grealish then takes an extra 10 minutes in the fresh air of his garden before turning in for the night.

He posted a series of images on Instagram of his new installation, claiming that it leaves him feeling ‘so good’ before he turns in for the night.

‘Jack loves to get steaming when the time is right and makes no apology for it,’ a source told The Sun. ‘But it seems like as he’s matured he’s discovered there are different ways to spend your time.

‘His partner Sasha is big on health and fitness and they are enjoying being able to pop into their own personal sauna whenever they want. It’s become his new routine before bed.’

Grealish and City are next in action on Wednesday, when they take on Real Madrid in Manchester for a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The tie is balanced at 3-3 after a number of stunning goals from both sides, though the reigning champions will be hoping to utilise their home advantage to line up a clash with either Arsenal or Bayern Munich in the last four.
