“Ninety-nine percent of the group drank, in life you also have to enjoy the good times. It was crazy. After a season of a lot of wear and tear, although very victorious, we had to celebrate, we had to enjoy it because it was many months of intense work,” he explained.

Ederson: “The Jack Grealish thing was a different story in the celebrations”.

For four days many Manchester City players starred in an eternal party led by Grealish that took them to Ibiza, Turkey and, of course, Manchester.

“Jack Grealish always takes advantage when he has days off, there’s nothing wrong with that,” Ederson defended him.

“Just like you journalists or businessmen who want to rest as much as possible, I also had a glass of wine with my friends on my days off, but the Jack Grealish thing was a whole new level in the celebrations,” he remarked.

Ederson confesses that Rúben Dias was the City player who vomited in Grealish’s mother’s bag

It is common knowledge that in those City celebrations alcohol became the protagonist, and it showed in some players more than others.

“There are players who do not drink alcohol, like Nathan Ake, or like Rúben Dias who made an exception,” Ederson confessed on the ‘TNT’ channel.

“Rúben Dias had two drinks and threw up, he threw up Grealish’s mother’s bag,” said the Brazil international goalkeeper.

55,000 euros worth of alcohol to celebrate the Premier League title

Manchester City’s treble has prompted many celebrations in recent weeks. The team also celebrated the Premier League title in style. “To be fair to City, they have been brilliant with the celebrations and all the parties. There was one for winning the Premier League at the Tunnel Club a few weeks ago,” explained Grealish’s father as quoted by The Mirror.

“The drinks bill came to £47,000 (about 55,000), forty-seven grand! I saw the receipt and before you say it it wasn’t just Jack’s drinks bill – he actually went home early that night!” continued the player’s father.
