“Why I wasn’t wearing socks, bra and knickers at the time is a completely different story. But now I’m wearing my publisher’s bra, my manager’s socks and cut-off children’s leggings from your clothing corner,” she says humorously.

The 39-year-old actress stars in the new Netflix film Luckiest girl alive. She says in advance that the ending is different from the book it is based on. “But whoever wrote the book also wrote the screenplay.”
“Only when you feel old do you mind that you’re playing the older character now, instead of the teenager. Before, I was the flashback,” says the 39-year-old actress from a lot of teenage films soberly.
