Despite having all her fittings in Los Angeles, her bra, underwear, and socks didn’t make it to her dressing room in New York.
She humorously shared the situation with Kimmel, mentioning that there was a whole other story behind why she wasn’t wearing those garments in the first place. With no time for the costume department to find replacements, Kunis had to improvise with the help of her team.
In the end, she ended up wearing her publicist’s bra, her manager’s socks, and children’s leggings from the Children’s Place, which they had fashioned into makeshift underwear. Considering she was wearing a sheer dress, going without undergarments on national television wasn’t an option.
Despite the unexpected wardrobe challenge, Kunis handled it with grace and even used the incident to playfully chastise the audience for booing her pizza opinions later in the show.
