Denmark’s tennis star Holger Rune has questioned the Tennis TV for not including him in the list of most wins for players who were born after 2000. The 21-year-old is often regarded as one of the most talented players currently playing in men’s tennis in the singles category.

A famous page on the social media platform X — previously known as Twitter — shared a picture of four players who were born after 2000 with the most wins in men’s tennis. The picture featured current world number one Italy’s Jannik Sinner with 247 wins, Canada’s Felix Auger Aliassime with 213 wins, four-time Grand Slam winner and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz with 200 wins and Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti with 130 wins.

Rune, while responding to the post, commented that he feels he should have been on that list as well. “Not counting but felt I was on that list as well @TennisTV,” he wrote. The Gentofte-born, who has won four ATP titles in his young career, does not have a strong point as at the highest level, he has won 127 matches, three fewer than Musetti.

The former world number four recently participated in the Japan Open where his journey came to an end on Monday as he lost to France’s Arthur Fils in the semifinal in straight sets with a score of 7-6, 7-6. It was the 19th defeat this season for the current world number 14. It was the fifth time in six attempts that Rune has suffered a defeat in the last-four clash this season. Earlier, he also lost in the semifinal of the Open Sud de France to Croatia’s Borna Coric, Mexican Open to Norway’s Casper Ruud, BMW Open to Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff and Cincinnati Open to America’s Frances Tiafoe. His only win in the semifinal of an ATP event this year came in the Brisbane International in January where he booked his spot in the final after beating Russia’s Roman Safiullin in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 7-6.
