Paige Spiranac will never forget one particular fan and the reason is surprising

Spiranac had an unforgettable event

Paige Spiranac, often dubbed the ‘Golf Queen,’ has captivated fans both on the green and across social media. Her journey in the world of professional golf had its ups and downs, including a missed cut that led her to shift her focus. This turn of events, however, was a blessing in disguise. Spiranac’s rise as a social media influencer has been meteoric, earning her a massive following and a unique place in the sports world.

Recently, Spiranac shared a memorable fan interaction on her X (formerly Twitter) handle. At an X-Golf event, a fan named Tony asked her to sign his arm. To Spiranac’s surprise, Tony returned an hour later with the autograph tattooed on his skin.

She tweeted: “Met Tony at an @xgolfamerica event where he asked me to sign his arm. An hour later he comes back with it tattooed on him!” Such unexpected admiration has become somewhat typical for Spiranac.

Spiranac has recounted other bizarre fan encounters. On the Foreplay podcast, she recalled a fan who had tattooed her image on his thigh. She was taken aback when he showed her the tattoo at an event in Lake Tahoe. “It’s an entire thigh tattoo of this nak*d girl holding a golf club,” she shared, adding humorously, “I’m like, it’s like they look a little small.”

Spiranac’s popularity extends beyond her golfing skills and social media presence. She co-authored a book with her sister Lexie, titled “The Story of Hattie”, which fans have praised as an excellent introduction to golf. One fan described it as “an amazing book to read for anyone who wants to learn how to play golf,” noting how it encourages confidence and determination.

Her fans’ loyalty is evident in their desire to see her in prominent roles, such as an analyst for NBC Sports after Paul Azinger stepped down. However, not all fan interactions have been positive. Spiranac was once impersonated by a scammer who charged fans $10,000 for a picture, leading to a shocking revelation.

Spiranac’s partnership with tech company X-Golf has also been notable. She frequently showcases their premium indoor golf simulations on her social media. It was at an X-Golf event that she met Tony, the fan with the tattoo. This incident left fans amused and speculating whether Tony received a special prize for his dedication. X-Golf commented on the tweet: “Well, at least Tony will never forget that day.” Neither will Spiranac.
