Proud Coco Gauff Shows Off Sweet Souvenir From Young Fan That Gave Her ‘Flashbacks’ in Endearing Moment

Coco Gauff finally hit the jackpot in Paris! After a heck load of criticism for her troubled forehand in Rome, this reigning US Open champion showed her worth to her fans yesterday. As this American WTA star prepped up to celebrate her victory, she showed how the City of Love embraced her with an adorable surprise taking her back into “flashbacks” from her “lil girl” phase.

The official Instagram page of the Tennis Channel shared a clip, where fans spotted Coco Gauff showing off a bracelet that a young fan gifted her and speaking about it. In the Tennis Channel’s clip, fans spotted the interviewer asking Gauff, “Let’s talk about this bracelet that you are wearing. You wanna share with people ?” In her response, this reigning US Open champion said- “Yeah, a lil girl gave me this bracelet, uh, I used to make these when I was younger so it tryna give me flashbacks and we kinda traded, I gave her my headband for my bracelet. She didn’t ask for the headband but no point in taking it without giving something.”

Coco Gauff’s response surely delighted her fans seeing the generosity of the American WTA star to maintain such a nice gesture with her young fans. “Headband for a bracelet 🤝#rolandgarros”- wrote Tennis Channel as the caption.

Now Coco Gauff has always been in favor of her fans. She hardly misses an opportunity to shower her love for those who stand by her and cheer for her professional success. During Gauff’s third-round Miami Match against Nadia Podoroska, this American WTA star shared pictures of one of her fans interestingly cheering for her. Gauff shared a few pictures on her Instagram story, where people spotted the fan holding a sign that said-“Coco don’t tell me that you ain’t been in Vogue.”  Here, this fan cleverly referred to famous singer Drake’s Jimmy Cooks and hinted at Gauff’s glamorous Vogue cover photo in a beautiful Micheal Kors dress. “Supporter of the day!! Sign goes so hard,”- Gauff captioned it.

In her next story, she showed how one of her young fans proudly wore her Australian Open 2024 kit from her sponsor New Balance. “This cutie in my Aussie Open kit too,” – wrote Gauff sharing a photo of that fan on her Instagram story. Therefore, these moments surely tell that Gauff has always taken the side of her fans. She has made sure that her fans’ love for her never goes unnoticed. That’s probably why she happily chose to speak about her bracelet after making a dashing entry to Roland Garros’s quarter-finals yesterday.

Now, Gauff’s fans have been her biggest motivation. Her bracelet was not just a mere gift but it was more like an appreciation from her young fan for her incredible victory in the tour’s fourth round.

“This week I feel like…playing well” – Coco Gauff reaches the quarterfinals in Paris

It wasn’t just fans who made Gauff’s day but this reigning US Open champion also delighted them with an amazing victory in the tour’s fourth round. Gauff pulled off a great win against Italy’s Elisabetta Cocciarettoby 6-1 and 6-2 and entered to the Roland Garros’s quarterfinals to face off against Ons Jabeur.

I’m really happy with how I played today. I played her in Dubai, and it was a little bit tougher. So happy that I took what I learned from that match into today, Sometimes how you start is not necessarily how you finish a tournament. For me last week Rome was one of those where I went in not feeling great at all, and then I left feeling good about my game, This week I feel like I’ve been managing and playing well,”- Gauff said post-victory.

Coco Gauff’s cute bracelet from her young fan is a testament to the love and affection she receives from her fan community. Despite criticisms, Gauff’s young fan base never fails to motivate their favorite WTA star. This is what inspires Coco to win more and be one of the appropriate carriers of Serena Williams’s legacy.
