Simona Halep came with excellent news after worrying her fans with medical issues in the recent period.
Although she has knee pain and cannot play in official matches, Simona announced that she has no intention of retiring from tennis.
Furthermore, Simona wants to return to the court soon and perform at her maximum capacity.
“I am not thinking about retiring. I am only thinking about a comeback, that’s all!” said Simona Halep to Pro TV.
Simona’s comeback will take place on June 15, at the Sports Festival, in an exhibition doubles match alongside Andrei Pavel.
However, Simona does not know when she will be able to compete in an official match as she is experiencing knee pain.
After being cleared of suspension, Simona has played only two matches. In Miami, where she was defeated, and at the Trophée Clarins, where she withdrew due to the pain.
