Simona Halep returned to the tennis court, this time not for an official match, but for a demonstration game at the Sports Festival in Cluj-Napoca, alongside legends such as Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi, Andrei Pavel and Horia Tecau.
It was the first event in which Simona played tennis in Romania, after a long break, caused by the suspension of the Romanian for doping, one of which was fortunately reduced by TAS.
Halep and Pavel, on one side, and the Agassi and Graf spouses on the other side of the net, displayed spectacular tennis, complete with funny moments and memorable lines. The pair from Romania won 8-4 in a maxi set that delighted the thousands of fans who arrived in Cluj-Napoca, including Ilie Năstase, Ion Țiriac, Virginia Ruzici, Emil Boc, Ana Maria Brânză and others.
Halep had a few words to say before the start of the game, thanking the fans in Romania for being with her during the tough times she went through.

Steffi Graf is considered one of the greatest tennis players in the history of this sport, with 22 Grand Slam titles, the only one to win the Grand Slam in 1988.
