Jack Grealish greeted some excited fans during a special event to launch Manchester City’s third kit in New York City.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Earlier this week, Manchester City players held a brief training session in New York’s Central Park. Ahead of their second pre-season match against AC Milan at Yankee Stadium, the Premier League winners took in some sightseeing in the Big Apple. On Thursday, Grealish greeted a few fans at 5th Avenue ahead of the Puma Block Party and reduced some overwhelmed fans to tears as the group snapped photos with the 28-year-old.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
During the ‘Puma Block Party’, the former Aston Villa forward took on his avatar of DJ Grealo and took up DJing duties for a brief period before also trying his hand at playing basketball.
DID YOU KNOW?
During the off-season in May last year, Grealish officially made his debut as DJ Grealo when he took up the decks with Oliver Heldens and OKX during a sponsored metaverse event.
WHAT NEXT FOR GREALISH?
The Englishman will soon have to return to action on the field as the Cityzens take on AC Milan on July 27 before facing Hansi Flick’s Barcelona on July 30.
