Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz featured alongside Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, and Grigor Dimitrov for a special video showcasing Team Europe’s ambitions in their upcoming Laver Cup campaign. Team Europe, eager to capitalize on their home advantage in Berlin, is determined to reclaim the Laver Cup title from Team World, aiming for a long-awaited win.
Despite boasting a roster of tennis stars in recent years, Team Europe has failed to secure the Laver Cup over the last two editions. Even with their dream team featuring the now-retired Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, Europe could not halt Team World’s success. The video release served as an official announcement of Team Europe’s revenge-seeking focus for this year’s competition, with the squad aiming to reverse their recent fortunes.
This year’s competition holds particular significance as it marks the final tournament for retiring captain Bjorn Borg. He has assembled a formidable squad in hopes of breaking Team World’s two-year winning streak.
