These were the words shared by the legendary Spanish champion Rafael Nadal in a press conference after the final in Bastad. The Paris Olympics will take place from July 27 to August 4 and will have 64 players with the formula two sets out of three and there will be 16 seeds, both for the men’s and women’s draws

The Olympic tennis tournament will be played on a familiar terrain for fans, that of the Roland Garros Stadium, where a few weeks ago it was Carlos Alcaraz who won and triumphed, shortly before also winning Wimbledon.

Nadal is already in Paris, where the Olympic Games will begin in a few days. The Spanish champion has been busy this past week in Bastad, a preparatory tournament on clay, which gave him good feelings, excluding the parenthesis of the final lost against Nuno Borges.

The Spanish champion played an excellent tournament, also playing two battles, in particular against Mariano Navone, a match that lasted over four hours. Rafa probably arrived exhausted at the final of the Swedish tournament and did not have the strength necessary to take home the title.

The 22-time Slam champion has already joined his friend Carlos Alcaraz in the Olympic village, with whom he will also play the tournament in doubles, as well as singles.
