Daniil Medvedev has iconic revelation on what 1-year-old daughter helped him realize

Medvedev always used to pose questions to himself about his personality.

Daniil Medvedev funnily revealed that all of his life he used to wonder what was the reason behind his fiery personality but then becoming a father and seeing how his daughter reacts in certain ways made him understand that it is probably something in their genes.

Medvedev, who turned 28 in February, has been one of the best players in the world for several years now but throwing tantrums and outbursts is also something he has mastered. But what stands out about Medvedev’s tantrums is that they can be very funny at times, like in Madrid when he asked if the Illuminati were making the call whether or not the roof gets closed.

In October, Medvedev’s daughter Alisa will turn two years old. Over the last several months, Medvedev spoke several times about how he is already seeing some of his characteristics in Alisa’s personality.

‘All my life I thought that I was throwing tantrums on court for various reasons, my childhood, etc… But now that I see my 1-year-old daughter get angry just like me, I tell myself, well, maybe it was genetics all along,” Medvedev said.

Medvedev on if his daughter could pursue a pro tennis career

When asked how he would feel about the prospect of his daughter taking up tennis one day, Medvedev suggested that if it was something his daughter wanted, he would not be preventing her from doing so. When revealing that, Medvedev also shared that Alisa has a little racket and she likes to hit some balls.

“I don’t know. I want her to be happy to do whatever she feels like she wants to do. And then there is a thin line because if I would have to choose myself at 10 years old, I’m not sure I would go to tennis,” Medvedev said on Tennis Channel.

“So, it’s a thin line where you as a parent, you need to see what she likes doing and what she can do well because it’s still important and also you don’t want to force her.

“So, that’s too early for the moment but she likes her small racket that she has, she likes playing with the ball, she likes kicking the ball so let’s see. If she comes to tennis, I’m not sure I will be there for the matches. I will be too stressed.”
