Manchester City take on Wolves on Saturday and Molyneux has been a happy hunting ground for Jack Grealish in the past.

While the rest of his Manchester City teammates have got the campaign off to a barnstorming start, pretty much picking up exactly where they left off with their treble-securing run, Grealish is yet to recapture those heights. He hasn’t been bad by any means, far from it, but he is no longer the undroppable force he was at the moment.
Part of that isn’t even his fault, the No.10 has been dealing with a hamstring injury which has seen him miss two Premier League matches and only come on for a few minutes at Nottingham Forest. Grealish played the full 90 against Newcastle but had a tough battle against Tino Livramento as the Blues crashed out of the Carabao Cup.
He also has more competition for a spot this season. With the arrival of Jeremy Doku, City have another great option to be deployed on the left flank and a completely different one at that. The young Belgian is faster and much more direct when picking up the ball, always making a beeline for the opponent’s box rather than checking back inside and slowing things down.
What Grealish needs is a jump start to his campaign, a good game to get him back on the rhythm. Saturday’s trip to Wolves offers a great opportunity for just that.
Just over a year ago now Grealish was in a much tougher position. Coming off the back of a first underwhelming season with the club, he had started just one of the first six league games. He got the nod in the Champions League against Borrusia Dortmund but then hit the nadir of his City career.
