Luke Littler reveals the surprising first thing he bought with £315,000 jackpot after winning the Premier League

Luke Littler has revealed the first thing he bought after winning the 2024 Premier League darts.

Last Thursday, 17-year-old teenage sensation Littler claimed the biggest title of his career so far after beating Luke Humphries in the final of the Premier League.

In front of a packed crowd inside the O2 Arena, London, Littler hit a stunning nine-darter on his way to winning the match 11-7.

On the back of winning the Premier League, Littler reportedly pocketed a prize money of £315,000.

As reported by The Sun, Littler has now revealed the first thing he bought with his winnings.

The Runcorn-born teenager said: “None of them went to Fifa points. But I did buy a Nintendo Switch, which I have brought away with me to have a bit of fun.

“Usually we are sat in the hotel rooms waiting for the next day to play. We did some sight-seeing this week. I came back, chilled out and played on the Switch.”

After his triumph in London last week, Littler is now in New York taking part in the US Darts Masters.

In his first-round match, the Brit took less than 10 minutes to dispatch Canadian Matt Campbell 6-0.

Speaking after his win, Littler said: “I felt good and couldn’t wait to get out there. The amount of the athletes that have performed here is amazing.

“I enjoyed that walk-on. The crowd got involved with it.”

He continued: “It has been crazy out here. But it’s a good thing as the darts get more recognisable outside of the UK and other countries.

“The Americans love their wrestling, it is where it is based. Cody gave me a message yesterday and I thought, let’s use his walk-on.”

Meanwhile, Humphries declared that his rivalry with Littler will be good for the sport.

He said: “My main goal was to make the top four and then make the final, and you can’t ask much more of yourself than that. It would have been lovely to win it, but I lost to a fantastic performance from Luke.

“I think Luke deserved to be the Premier League champion. It’s 1-1 between us in major finals now and it’s an exciting rivalry to look forward to in the future.”
