Novak Djokovic has reached the All England Club to try to take the court at Wimbledon. The Serbian champion has already carried out two training sessions in London and, in an interview given to the British media and in the words reported by the Daily Express, he specified that he will make the final decision before the draw so as not to alter the order of the seeds and to show respect to your colleagues.
“It’s great to be back. The plan – from the beginning – was to try to play Wimbledon: that’s what I’m trying to do. That’s why I came here first, to see how things go. A lot of people think maybe it’s not realistic or not smart anyway, but I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t gotten permission from the medical staff. I’m very happy with how things are going. I’m not pushing it 100% yet, but I can’t hope to be able to do it in the next few days rehabilitation has been going in the right direction every single day. I will make a decision based on how things go in the next four or five days. I will only play if I think I’m going to win? Of course, that’s why I’m here to play some shift. As reported by many Italian media, Jannik will return to the court today, in a few hours, together with Djokovic: the two will play together for an hour and test their respective physical condition.
