Ryder Cup Prize Money: How much money is the winning team taking home?

The 2023 Ryder Cup has not gone well for the USA, as they’re set to lose to Europe and continue their three-decade drought in editions held on the European continent.

Furthermore, there has been a split in the USA camp, with Patrick Cantlay reportedly upset that Team USA players aren’t paid for the event.

It is believed that this is why Cantlay has been refusing to wear a Team USA cap during the event in Rome.

His agent has refuted that, though, claiming that the stance is because of a lack of comfortable sizes.

Now, Paige Spiranac has called out Cantlay for the behavior during the tournament.

“Really goes against the whole ‘we play for pride and not money’ LIV narrative,” she wrote on social media, as reported by The Sun.

Paige Spiranac was making the point that some of the golfers who joined LIV Golf, such as Cantlay, tried to play down the importance of money in their decision.
