You truly never know who could start up a feud these days in the world of social media.

Case in point: Paige Spiranac and Scott Baio.

Popular golf influencer Spiranac was dragged into a brief beef with the actor who is best known for playing Chachi on the hit 1970s sitcom Happy Days earlier this week.

The dispute seemed to begin over a since-deleted social media post by Baio on X (formerly known as Twitter), in which he responded to a video of a woman at a driving range wearing tight clothing.

Based on subsequent posts, Baio said he was told the woman in the video was Spiranac and that the original poster had been trying to “drag” his golfer daughter Bailey.

This didn’t sit well with Spiranac, who reposted the deleted tweet with the caption: “Add Scott Baio to the list of people I never thought I would have beef with. What a world.”

Shortly after, Baio responded with an apology for his post and explained the situation to the ex-professional-golfer-turned-influencer.

My apologies. Someone posted a video saying it was you and attempted to drag my minor daughter (a junior golfer) and I defended myself. I apologize as I don’t know you or the other woman from the video. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.

This was more than enough for Spiranac to settle whatever beef there was between the two, posting: “Update the beef with Scott Baio has ended. I’m sure you were all on the edge of your seat.”

She also offered to give Baio’s daughter any tips for the golf course or college recruiting process.

“I appreciate your apology. I understand how protective you must feel of your daughter,” Spiranac wrote. “I played junior golf at a high level, in college and as well pro for a little. If your daughter ever needs any golf advice let me know! I learned a lot throughout my golf career especially during the recruiting process for college. Always happy to help!”

The actor often posts photos of Bailey teeing off on the golf course and she is nationally ranked in the Global Junior Golf rankings.

Since retiring from pro golf, Spiranac has found great success online. She has more than 4 million followers on social media and started her own subscription-based website,, on which she provides golf tips and sexy snaps.

She recently drew criticism from more traditional golf fans for a “cheeky” outfit that she wore on a golf course, which many felt was inappropriate.

It’s amazing the outrage this outfit is causing on Instagram. It’s just a little cheeky or booty cleavage as I like to say lol. I think it’s quite tame and this picture is cute. Thoughts?
