Simona Halep climbed the WTA rankings: what place does the former world leader occupy?

Sorana Cîrstea is still the Romanian tennis player ranked best in the WTA hierarchy, according to the ranking published on Monday. Simona Halep, the former world leader, climbed five positions.

Cîrstea remains in 29th place, with 1675 points.

In Monday’s WTA ranking, the second Romanian is Ana Bogdan, maintaining 50, with 1132 points.

Jaqueline Cristian climbed three places and is 62, with 986 points.

Irina Begu remains on 127th, with 596 points, while, after a drop of four places, Anca Todoni is on 141st, with 542 points.

Gabriela Ruse is also in the top 200 (152nd place, down two places, 491 points).

Simona Halep climbed five places in the ranking and is 1128, with 11 points.

The undisputed leader is still the Polish Iga Swiatek, with 11,695 points.
